Plantation police actively looking for person involved in domestic shooting

FORT LAUDERDALE — Police are actively looking for an armed suspect after a reported domestic shooting in Plantation on Saturday morning.
Plantation Police told CBS News Miami that the incident happened near 7000 W. Sunrise Blvd. Police did not say whether there were any casualties.
Officers had set up a perimeter between West Sunrise Boulevard and Northwest 65th Avenue as they searched for the suspect.
The perimeter was broken down later Saturday afternoon and officers have opened the roadway.
Plantation Police told CBS News Miami that the shooting was an isolated incident and there are no concerns for public safety at this time.
No arrests have been made as police continue their investigation.
